- We participate in North Dakota Department of Public Instruction's Para-to-Teacher Pathway with $20,000 in scholarships available!
- All required field experiences are job-embedded and can be completed at your current school!
- All courses are offered online (methods classes via Zoom) and taught by Mayville State faculty.
- Up to 30 semesters of previous life experience credit may be awarded.
- Many courses have low or no cost textbooks.
What is the Para-to-Teacher Scholarship?
The state of North Dakota, working through the Department of Public Instruction, will pay the tuition costs for paraprofessionals who wish to become teachers in the state of North Dakota.
To get the process started, click here to apply for the Para-to-Teacher Pathway Scholarship, which will cover tuition costs. Note that a letter of recommendation from your school administrator must be submitted along with the application.
