MSU's Early Childhood Education program is designed to meet the needs of non-traditional students who are currently employed in the field of early childhood education. You'll be prepared to make an impact in the lives of children from birth to age 8 after completing the program. Graduates will also be eligible to apply for a birth to third grade teaching license. The program will prepare you to work in a variety of leadership positions, including Early Childhood Administrator, Supervisor, Curriculum Specialist and Education Coordinator in preschool programs. The program takes full advantage of online and distance learning opportunities to provide flexibility.
If you already have a B.A. degree in early childhood education or a B.S.Ed. degree in elementary education, you'd be able to transfer much of your course work into this program.
