Politically Active College Students
Politically Active College Students (PACS) is a student group whose purpose is distributing information and promoting political interest. It is non-partisan and not meant to representing a particular political viewpoint. Our usual practice at our meetings is to have a short reading, discuss the issues in the reading, and move on to other topics as the group sees fit.
The group also provides general information to students about election process and how to qualify to vote, or acts as a "host" for candidates for office who are visiting campus.
Come spend a little time discussing the current event of the day, talking about the political "sides" involved, thinking about your values related to the issue, and enjoy talking with like-interested students.
