Participants must report to the construction offices located directly to the south of Old Main for safety instructions and to be outfitted with protection gear prior to the beginning of the tour. Members of the construction team will guide the tours. For planning purposes, please RSVP at www.mayvillestate.edu/OMtours.

During the 2023 North Dakota legislative session, Mayville State University was granted more than $52 million to renovate Old Main. The renovation project will modernize this historic building, providing state-of-the-art classroom facilities, greater accessibility, and better efficiency. Students, staff, and faculty will enjoy more classroom and communal space. The renovation honors Old Main's legacy as a cornerstone of the Mayville State University campus, while growing with the university into the future as the mission to meet the needs of students and prepare them for success in the classroom and beyond continues.
