Exciting progress continues to unfold in the renovation of Old Main as this beloved campus landmark moves ever closer to reopening! The impressive fourth-floor conference room is nearing completion, showcasing the remarkable transformation taking place throughout the building. On the first floor, finishing touches are being applied to the new one stop shop for student services, creating a welcoming, convenient, and student-centered hub.
Outside, landscaping crews are hard at work enhancing the grounds surrounding Old Main, adding beauty to the campus environment and perfectly complementing the building's historic restoration. Inside, one of the most breathtaking transofrmations is taking place in the grand main corridor that stretches through the heart of the building from north to south. Skilled craftsmen and contractors are diligently restoring and reimagining this iconic space, bringing new life and renewed energy to a treasured piece of university history.
With each passing week, Old Main takes another exciting step toward its next chapter. We look forward to welcoming students, faculty, staff, and visitors into this beautifully renovated building when classes return to Old Main for the Spring Semester of 2027, which begins in January. The countdown is on!
