Greetings to ALL alumni and to graduates and friends of the Class of 1976,
Unbelievably, 50 years has passed. It is time for an awesome reunion during the 2026 Homecoming and Farmers Bowl. Let’s share our memories, stories, and laughter and reconnect!
When we started in the Fall of 1972, we quickly learned that students who started before and after us were also part of OUR Mayville State family. We shared classes; studied together; lived in the same “dorms”; enjoyed and participated in athletic, music, drama and social events; gathered at the Mayville Pizza Shop, hiked to the DQ and got hashbrowns at the Portland Cafe; ventured across the river to Minnesota; we bought our books and first Comets t-shirts at the bookstore, and so much more!
Karen (Rorvig) Ressler, Sue (McMullen) Strand and Linda Loing are arranging reunion events in coordination with homecoming activities. Join us for socializing at the Mayville State Campus Center Luckasen Room following the Alumni Association Awards Dinner on Friday night (September 18). A cash bar will be available. On Saturday, September 19, we have reserved a TAILGATING spot prior to the football game. Details will be updated here and in the Mayville State Connection.
