Jordan Zrust, Buffalo, Minn. and Sebastian Griffin, Adalaide, Australia, were crowned Mayville State University’s Homecoming 2022 queen and king on Thursday evening, Oct. 6. Members of the royal court are Elora Passa, Julia Kohls, Rachel Hill, Samuel Grayson, Tim Salmon, and Stanley Lindsey.

Jordan Zrust is a junior majoring in physical education and health. She is a member of the Comets women’s basketball team.

Sebastian Griffin is a sophomore. He is active in the Multicultural Club and is a member of the men’s basketball team. His major is business administration.

Elora Passa is a senior from Barnesville, Minn. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2023 with a degree in elementary education and a specialization in early childhood. Elora plays volleyball for the Comets and will return for her final season next fall. While playing her final season for the Comets, she will be pursuing a master’s degree through Mayville State. She is a member of Mayville State’s Student Education Association.

Julia Kohls, Mayville, N.D., is in her fourth year at Mayville State and will graduate in the spring. She is pursuing majors in agribusiness and business administration with a specialization in marketing. She is a member of the Collegiate DECA chapter on campus and serves as its Vice President of Public Relations. She is also the president of the North Dakota Collegiate DECA group. Julia hopes to pursue a career in agriculture and recently completed two summer internships, in agronomy and in cattle in vitro fertilization.

Rachel Hill is a senior from Langdon, N.D. She will graduate in December with a bachelor’s degree in allied health and a minor in fitness and wellness. Rachel is in her final season with the Comets volleyball team. She plans to attend graduate school and pursue a degree in physical therapy next fall.

Samuel Grayson is a sophomore from Ipswich, Australia. He is majoring in business administration. Sam is a residence hall assistant and a member of the Comets men’s basketball team.

Tim Salmon is a junior from New Richmond, Wis. He is quarterback for the Comets football team and was named the NAIA and NSAA Offensive Player of the Week recently. Tim is pursuing a major in physical education.

Stanley Lindsey is a senior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is a defensive lineman on the Comets football team.
