toys_for_tickets.jpgThe Mayville State University women's basketball team is sponsoring their "Toys for Tickets" drive at the home women's basketball games Tuesday, November 27 and Saturday, December 1. Any person who brings a brand new, unwrapped toy to the game on either or both nights will be admitted to that night's game free of charge. All toys collected will be donated to underprivileged children in Traill County.

Mayville State will play the University of Minnesota Morris Tuesday, November 27, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Comets will host Crossroads College Saturday, December 1, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Games will be held at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse on the campus of Mayville State University.

In last year's "Toys for Tickets" drive, the Comets women's basketball team collected more than 90 toys. They have set a goal to collect more than 100 toys this year.

"This is a great opportunity to help the less fortunate during the holiday season," said Comets head coach Dennis Hutter. "We hope you'll come out and support the Comets not only in their games, but also in their quest to reach their goal of collecting 100 toys."
