Diversity-Logo.jpgThe Office of Diversity & Inclusion at Mayville State University is coordinating a multicultural showcase at Mayville State University. A day-long schedule of activities is planned for Friday, April 28. Community members are cordially invited to participate.

The day will begin with a study abroad showcase in the Campus Center Foyer at 9 a.m. At 11 a.m., there will be a discussion on studying and living abroad in the Byrnes-Quanbeck Library Quiet Room. Lunch in the cafeteria will feature music and prizes, beginning at 12 noon. Swing dance lessons will be offered in the Campus Center Luckasen Room starting at 1 p.m., and a Japanese etiquette class will take place in the Byrnes-Quanbeck Library Quiet Room at 3 p.m. There will be opportunities to participate in craft projects in the Campus Center Foyer at 3 p.m.

In the evening, an international dinner will be served in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for those who are not on a meal plan is $9.45 per person. Everyone is welcome for the dinner and also to attend the multicultural festival, which will take place in the Campus Center Luckasen Room at 6:30 p.m. The festival will feature a performance by the Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca, along with Mayville State students.
