Mayville State University students enrolled in Assistant Professor Business Ted Stoa’s Ag Commodities and Price Analysis class had the honor of a photo op with YouTube celebrity “Millennial Farmer” Zach Johnson at the recent International Crop Expo held in Grand Forks, N.D. Johnson was keynote speaker for the expo sponsored by AgCountry. He is a fifth-generation farmer from West Central Minnesota who has spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm.

Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences on the family farm. His vision is to build the connection between farmers and consumers. Zach's mission is to become a national voice for agriculture, provide farmer-to-farmer education, and facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public. He has has more than 800,000 followers on his YouTube channel.
