During the MobilePack event, the students joined members of the community in packing MannaPack™ meals for starving children around the world. The event was organized by churches of the community.

The students who took part are Cole Dukart, Killdeer, N.D.; Alex Kosel, Fargo, N.D.; Tyler Ferrera, Truckee, Calif.; Trevor Schreiner, Washburn, N.D.; Austen Adamsen, Northwood, N.D.; Adam Senden, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Andrew Larson, Grafton, N.D.; Chance Johnson, Williston, N.D.; Anna Gagnon, Grand Forks, N.D.; Ashlyn Fosmark, West Fargo, N.D.; Billie Carik, Cavalier, N.D.; Janessa Matthys, Hillsboro, N.D.; and Victoria Johnson, Roseau, Minn.

The SOS course is designed to help all students who are new to Mayville State University become integrated into the college and community environment. A variety of topics that can lead to greater self-awareness and increase the student's level of academic and personal success, enjoyment, and persistence are covered.
