Melanie Kamp, a Master of Science in Nursing student at Mayville State University, presented at the North Dakota Interprofessional Conference hosted by the North Dakota Nurses Association on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024. Melanie’s presentation was entitled “Evaluating Nurse’s Self-Efficacy in Identifying and Addressing Social Determinants of Health.”

Conference attendees included people from a wide variety of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, and dietary. Among those in attendance were the president of the North Dakota Nurses Association and the dean of the University of North Dakota medical school.

“Melanie’s presentation was an outstanding demonstration of knowledge, and professionalism,” said Dr. Janell Juelich, Assistant Professor of Nursing at Mayville State. “We are Mayville State proud of Melanie and her accomplishment!”
