A search committee composed of various individuals representing Mayville State campus constituents, students, and alumni has been charged with leading the search for the Mayville State University head baseball coach position that will be vacant upon Scott Berry’s retirement. After reviewing applications and interviewing semi-finalists, the committee has decided to bring one qualified candidate to campus for finalist interview activities.

Finalist Billy Tomblin will participate in campus interview activities Wednesday, April 19. Mayville State faculty and staff and the public are invited to participate in a meet and greet opportunity with the finalist from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center on the Mayville State campus.

Other activities for the finalist will include an interview with the search committee; a meeting with the baseball team and another with the Mayville State Athletics head coaches; a meeting with President Van Horn; and lunch with the president’s cabinet.
