The young, energetic, and exciting Midwest Dueling Pianos entertainers will be at Mayville State University Friday evening, March 4, 2022, just in time to help chase away the winter blues and cabin fever! The Dueling Pianos Party, hosted by the MSU Foundation, is being held to benefit the students of Mayville State University through the annual fund. It will take place in the MSU Campus Center Luckasen Room. Socializing will begin at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment will follow, from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets sell for $50 each and can be purchased at the office of the MSU Foundation, 701-788-4687, or at www.mayvillestate.edu/duelingpianos. Those attending must be at least 21 years of age.
Larry and Cathy Lande, Mayville State alumni and supporters from Greeley, Colo., are the premier sponsors of the Dueling Pianos Party at Mayville State. Popplers Music of Grand Forks, N.D. is also providing sponsorship dollars for the event. Thanks to the generosity of these thoughtful sponsors, nearly all of the ticket proceeds from the Dueling Pianos Party will go to the MSU Foundation annual fund.
Midwest Dueling Pianos will bring a level of fun to Mayville State that those who attend will never forget. This has quickly become one of the most sought-after dueling piano production companies in the country. Those attending can expect a program of excitement, hilarity, musicianship, and raw fun. The interactive musical comedy experience will have audience members singing, shouting, dancing, and laughing.
The all-request-driven show will feature music ranging from the songs of today to as far back as memories can take you. Audience members will provide the direction of the show to the performers by writing their favorite songs on request slips that they bring up to the two pianos, which will be front and center. The multi-talented dueling pianos entertainers will then perform the requested songs, while urging the audience to participate.
