Cleone Whelan, Crystal, N.D., was recognized as the 2016 Mayville State University Foundation Volunteer of the Year during the MSU Foundation Honor Society President’s Dinner held Thursday evening, Oct. 27. Whelan, a 1962 Mayville State graduate, serves as a member of the board of the MSU Alumni Association.
A long-time enthusiastic member of the Alumni Association board, Whelan plays an integral role in all activities of the organization, especially during the annual homecoming and Alumni Day festivities.
