Cancellation of Registration/Withdrawing

Cancellation of Registration

Cancellation of registration prior to the beginning of the semester is the student’s responsibility. Students may officially cancel their registration before the first day of the semester by completing the Cancellation/Withdrawal Form. The date of the official cancellation will be the date the student’s form is received by the Academic Records Office.

  • Log into Campus Connection > eForms > Cancel/Withdraw to Zero
  • Students will receive a confirmation email when the form is submitted
  • Students will receive an email of the completed cancellation request

Official Withdrawal
Beginning the first day of class, students withdrawing from all coursework must complete a Cancellation/Withdrawal Request. The date of the official withdrawal will be the date the student’s form is received by Academic Records Office.

  • Log into Campus Connection > eForms > Cancel/Withdraw to Zero
  • Students will receive a confirmation email when the form is submitted
  • Students cannot withdraw by attempting to drop all their classes in Campus Connection
    • Campus Connection will alert students with an error message that the attempt was not successful
  • Students wishing to withdraw will not receive any academic credits for the classes within that term
    • This includes classes that have already been completed
  • Refunds resulting from a withdrawal are calculated based on the class length

Instructions on how to complete the Cancel/Withdraw to Zero request can be accessed here.

Dropping Courses

Dropping
Dropping occurs when a student wishes to discontinue enrollment in a particular class but wants to remain enrolled in at least one other class during the term.

  • Here are directions on how to drop a class.
  • If you are attempting to drop a course after the first 10 days of the semester, you will need to initiate a Registration Action Form to complete the drop.
  • Students cannot drop their final class through Campus Connection. Dropping the last class is considered withdrawing from the term and must be processed using the Cancellation/Withdrawal Form.

Dates and Deadlines
In order to receive 100% refund the request must be received on or before the 10th day of class during Fall and Spring semesters.
