Community Services and Grant Programs

Mayville State University offers a number of opportunities for members of the community. People are encouraged to take advantage of the many resources and enrichment activities available.

Swimming Pool

Mayville State University offers American Red Cross swimming lessons. New sessions begin each fall, spring, and summer. In addition, the pool is available for open recreational swimming, lap swimming, and water exercise during the regular school year. Mayville State students and employees, as well as community members are invited to make use of this great resource.

CDP

Mayville State University Child Development Programs assist in empowering children, families, the community, staff, students and volunteers by providing opportunities and resources to improve their quality of life. The program provides Early Head Start, Head Start, child care, and pre-kindergarten services. The program employs more than 55 full-time staff members who serve families in Traill, Steele, Grand Forks and Griggs Counties. The program serves as a lab site for students enrolled at Mayville State University, the University of Noth Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minn.

Service Center

The MSU Service Department, located in room 25 of the lower level of Old Main, provides a number of services available for on- and off-campus patrons. Services include black and full-color photocopying, faxing, folding and binding and finishing of booklets.
