Refunds for Dropping Individual Classes

A class that is dropped prior to the completion of 9 percent of the period of enrollment shall receive a 100 percent refund of tuition and fees for the number of credits attributable to the dropped class. After the completion of 9 percent of the period of enrollment for a class, no refund shall be given for tuition and fees for a dropped class.

Tuition Refund Schedules for Students Withdrawing from Mayville State University

A total withdrawal occurs when all classes are dropped during the period of enrollment. The applicable refund percentage is based on the calendar date of when the Vice President of Student Affairs receives and approves the completed withdrawal paperwork from the student. An individual class that is dropped after the 100% refund period will not receive a refund.

Housing and Dining Refunds

Fall 2021 Refund Dates

 

Students who "Early Arrive"

Participants in fall sports programs, international students, and others may apply to arrive early through the Housing Portal. If a student thusly enrolls but then cancels

  • their housing contract: a daily rate of $30/a weekly rate of $99 is applied as a charge to their student account, while the semester-based refund schedule will apply as appropriate.
  • their dining contract: actual use of dining services will be applied as a charge to their student account. Such usage is not applied for those changing (but not canceling) a dining contract.
