North Dakota Student Association

Greetings!

The North Dakota Student Association represents the voice of North Dakota’s 45,000 public college and university students and engages as the Voice of the Students during policymaking processes that occur through the North Dakota University System, State Legislature, and State Board of Higher Education. NDSA attracts a diverse range of individuals from across the state’s 11 public campuses, and each student joins us with their own thoughts, priorities, and beliefs. The strength of the group is the union of support of higher education in the state of North Dakota that is forged by this group of student leaders and their individual experiences.

The NDSA meets monthly and will be hosted in February on the Mayville State campus. Our campus is eager to have these student leaders from across the state meet to discuss concerns and solutions and to engage with our facilities and services. Two days of meetings will take place on February 25 and 26.

Vending machines items, as well as a muffin or the like and a hot beverage service, will be available Saturday morning in the Education Building.

Friday night event

We have scheduled our seventh annual Laser Tag in the Library for Saturday night. Since we already have the equipment and NDSA leaders are here, Laser Tag is our planned activity for NDSA participants.

Break Out Sessions

Education 118, 122, and 102 are reserved for Friday evening and Saturday morning. We have reserved these three rooms in anticipation of the typical Friday schedule of institution-type centered meetings on Friday followed by task group centered meetings Friday night and Saturday morning. Schedules with start times will be announced by NDSA.

These three rooms have zoom and projection capabilities.

Parking

We do not have a parking decal requirement on campus. Students staying on campus on Friday night will want to park in Lot E (near the top of this map). Dinner is in the Campus Center (building in Blue); residence hall rooms are in Berg (just to the west of Lot E); and the Education Building is co-located with the Bynes-Quanbeck Library to the south of Lot E. We've advised the Facilities Shop to allow overnight parking on Friday night.
