Fun for the whole family!
The public is cordially invited to join with all alumni and friends in celebrating Mayville State’s 125th anniversary during CometFest! Saturday, October 4, 2014 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The festivities will take place outside of Jerome Berg Field and are being held in conjunction with the annual homecoming celebration. Meet your friends! Catch up on the latest from Mayville State! Purchase your official Homecoming 2014 T-shirt! Enjoy family-friendly fun!
97 KYCK/Z94.7 Cash Cube
Register for a chance to spend 30 seconds in the 97 KYCK/Z94.7 Cash Cube! Catch as many flying dollar bills and/or prize certificates as you can! There will be up to $500 in cash and prizes available! Visit Mayville State's Facebook page for instructions on how to win a chance to become a contestant in this fun and profitable game! Registrations will also be taken during the CometFest! event. You must be present when your name is called if you want to play!
Music
Z94.7 and 97 KYCK radio personalities will be on deck with the Leighton Broadcasting RV. There will be music, games, and fun for everyone!
Inflatable Games
Kids of all ages will enjoy a variety of inflatable games that will be available free of charge.
Pedal Tractor Pull for Kids
There will be asanctioned pedal tractor pull for kids ages 4 to 11. Prize ribbons will be awarded and qualifiers will be eligible to go on to the state peddle tractor pull next summer. Registration begins right after the Homecoming parade, at approximately 10:45 a.m. The pull will start at about 11:30 a.m. The pull will be held outside of Jerome Berg Field.
Coloring Contest for Kids
The MSU Alumni Association is sponsoring a coloring contest. Prizes will be awarded in two age categories, pre-school through second grade, and third grade through fifth grade. See the details!
Giveaways
DJs from Z94.7 and 97 KYCK will be on deck with the Leighton Broadcasting RV and will be giving out plenty of swag. The Alumni Association will also have giveaways.
Food
The Mayville State concession stand will be open for those who wish to purchase food. There will be lots of room for eating and socializing under the big Alumni Association tent!
