The Mayville State University women’s basketball team will be taking an opportunity to give back to the Mayville State and Mayville-Portland communities that support them throughout their athletic seasons and careers. They will hold their “Service Day” Sunday, Oct. 20. The women will be in the community helping their neighbors inside and outside of their houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We try hard to teach service and selfless leadership within our women’s basketball program,” said Comets Head Coach Dennis Hutter. “We would love to help out with whatever community members need or would like to have done either inside or outside of their houses.”
