Following a long-standing Mayville State tradition, the MSU Theater Department, under the direction of Bob Sylskar, presented a spring children's theater production, with shows on March 21 and 22 in the Old Main Theatre. Hansel and Gretel is the last show to be performed in the historic Old Main Theatre before physical work in the renovation of Old Main begins in the next several months.
As is the tradition, matinee shows were given for area school children at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day. Performances for general audiences were held each evening. Audience members of all ages thoroughly enjoyed the show.
