Welcome Week 2026

Learn more about Mayville State, meet your fellow Comets, and have some fun while doing it during Mayville State's Welcome Week activities! There's so much to do! Make plans to participate in all that is planned from Saturday, August 22 through Sunday, August 30 ... and the fun continues into September with the combined Farmers Bowl/Homecoming festivities. Kick off the semester in the best possible way!

All new on-campus students are expected to participate in all of the Welcome Week activities.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22

Move in and Settle in
Get comfortable in your home away from home.
    10 a.m. - Agassiz, Berg, and Birkelo Residence Halls

Bookstore Open
   10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Campus Center

   11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Campus Center Dining Services

Old Main Tour
Students and parents are invited to see the exciting renovation progress at Old Main, Mayville State's flagship building. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026, and will be ready for use during the Spring Semester of 2027. This tour is optional. Those participating must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants and meet at the construction offices located across the street from the south side of Old Main for a safety briefing.
