| Head women’s basketball coach Dennis Hutter is happy to announce that Allison Aaland has signed a DAC Letter of Intent to play basketball for Mayville State. Aaland is a 5’8” guard from Hatton Northwood High School.
While playing basketball for the Thunder Aaland averaged 9.5 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, and 2.0 steals per game during her senior season. Allison was also voted to the Red River All-Conference Team.
Aaland helped the Thunder advance to the Regional Tournament. During her senior season Allison was voted by her teammates as the Most Outstanding Rebounder and also received the Thunder Award.
“Allison will bring great athleticism to our team next season,” coach Hutter said. “She has a tremendous work ethic and attitude which will allow her to fit in very nicely.”
