The role of the VA Certifying Official at Mayville State University is to assist current and new students with the application and certifying process for VA Benefits. VA Certifying Officials are unable to make VA Benefit selections for you, please keep this in mind as you begin your educational journey. Students are encouraged to visit the GI Bill website http://www.gibill.va.gov and local installation Education Office before meeting with school officials in order to have a general understanding of the VA process. Mayville State University’s VA Certifying Officials will however, direct students to proper VA application procedures, certify enrollments, communicate changes in University policy or procedure which may impact enrollment, and answer all VA Questions to the best of our ability.
