First impressions do count when you are trying to find a job or internship. How you present yourself to a prospective employer through your Letter will, more often than not, determine if you are called for an interview.

A cover letter (which may also take the form of an e-mail message, with resume attached) introduces you to an employer and states why you are interested in the position or company. It is an opportunity for you to sell yourself by showing the employer what you can contribute (education, skills, experience). Include a cover letter with every resume you send!
