Earn your Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness online at Mayville State University. Our agribusiness curriculum focuses on the management skills needed to succeed in small and medium-sized agribusinesses, including the profitable operation of farms and ranches. Upon program completion, students are prepared to work in sales, ag cooperatives, banking, finance, farm and ranch management, and other agribusiness fields.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
The program requires students to take 52 core credits of agribusiness courses and 21 credits of specialization courses. Specializations include Science & Technology and Business.
Agribusiness majors must complete 30 credits of Essential Studies courses. The following Essential Studies courses are required as prerequisite courses for the program: COMM 110; ENGL 110; ENGL 120 or ENGL 125 (preferred); MATH 103 (College Algebra – may substitute a higher-level Math course with approval), ECON 201; and, ECON 202. The recommended Essential Study prerequisite courses for the program: GEOG 103; BIOL 150, BIOL 150L; BIOL 151; BIOL 151L.
Students working towards the B.S. in Agribusiness may choose to complete a double major with a B.S. or B.A.S. in Business Administration.
TRANSFER-FRIENDLY
Mayville State University accepts transfer credit from regionally recognized accredited institutions of postsecondary education. All credit hours earned from the institutions that meet this criterion are accepted in transfer towards graduation degree credit hours.
