Both teams launched in 2025 and have already shown impressive growth, drawing student-athletes from across the region. Led by Head Coach Brook Neva, the archery team began with six shooters and now boasts a roster of eleven. Practices and competitions are held at Norsemen Hall in Portland, N.D., giving athletes a dedicated space in which to hone their skills. The team competes in local leagues as well as National Field Archery Association (NFAA) and North Dakota Archery Club Alliance (NDACA) events across the state. This year, Mayville State successfully recruited a nationally ranked archer Hatley Hetletved, underscoring the program’s competitive ambitions....
