How to Apply for the

Mini-Grant

Application Process

Go to the Advancing Education at MSU Blackboard organization (you may need to login to Blackboard to open this link). Follow the steps as outlined on the course menu. The steps are also listed below to give you a sense of the process.

1. Download and complete the Mini-Grant Application and other forms.

2. Submit the completed application by April 17, 2019.  Applications submitted by this date will be given priority consideration; however, we will accept applications after this date as well. Remember, this is a competitive process.

An initial application review by the Instructional Designer will be completed and sent to the Mini-Grant Committee members.

The Mini-Grant Committee will review applications together. Committee members may request clarification and/or specific changes to the proposal. These communications will occur via the Bb Grade Center as feedback to the submission.

If changes and a re-submission are requested, upload your edited version to the same dropbox used for the original submission. It will be saved as a separate attempt.

3. Applicants will be notified of award status via email by April 30, 2019 at the latest; earlier if possible. The award list will be displayed on this site and in the Bb organization.

4. Project Update Forms will be sent with Award Notices via email. Project Updates are due October 1, 2019. A dropbox will be provided for each project.
