Rhonda Nelson, assistant professor of business at Mayville State University, has been selected to join in the 2016 Center for Technology & Business (CTB) Women’s Leadership Program in eastern North Dakota. The 17 members of the class will participate in activities in the Fargo community. They were chosen from a pool of applicants submitted by outstanding women in the region.
The Women’s Leadership Program is an exceptional six-month program dedicated to building a culture of women empowering women in North Dakota. The goal is to increase leadership skills in four core areas – personal leadership, professional leadership, community leadership, and health leadership - for women of all backgrounds. After completing six months of coursework, the public will be invited to join participants at a graduation ceremony on December 14.
The newly selected participants join a statewide network of highly motivated and forward-thinking women who are making a difference across North Dakota. To date, program participants have raised more than $205,000 in cash and in-kind donations in their communities.
