Jessi Hegg has been named Program Director of Mayville State University Child Development Programs (CDP). She had been serving as interim director of the program for the last several weeks. Jessi has been employed in numerous advancing positions with CDP for the past 10 years. Prior to serving as interim director, she was the professional development coordinator for the MSU CDP’s Hillsboro, Grand Forks, and Central Valley sites.
Hegg has significant knowledge and understanding of the Head Start Program Performance Standards, the Head Start Act, childcare regulations, and the Mayville State Child Development Programs. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mayville State in 2009.
Jessi is a lifelong learner who is constantly expanding her knowledge of Head Start and the childcare industry. She is a visionary thinker who is always looking to the future for Mayville State CDP and believes in the program’s mission, vision, and core values.
