Alumni Association hosting first-ever Minnesota Twins outing
The Mayville State University Alumni Association is hosting the first-ever Mayville State University Alumni Association outing at Target Field this summer, and you’re invited! Join your Mayville State friends and make memories while watching the Minnesota Twins in action versus the Kansas City Royals. A block of seats has been reserved for the Saturday, August 16 game. Game time is 6:10 p.m. You may purchase tickets and drive to the game on your own, or travel with the group from North Dakota who will be motoring via people mover.
The Alumni Association has reserved seats in rows 30-34 of section 102 at Target Field. Show your Comet pride and enjoy the excitement of Major League baseball. Get to the stadium early so you’ll have a chance to take in the full ball park experience. Game tickets can be purchased online at www.mayvillestate.edu/twins or by contacting the MSU Foundation at 701-788-4687.
You can even leave the driving to us! Take advantage of this opportunity to bond with your Mayville State friends while en route to the Twin Cities! We’ve hired a luxury people mover that will begin the trip to the Twin Cities in Grand Forks, N.D. at the crack of dawn on August 16, and will make stops in Mayville and Fargo on the way to Minneapolis-St. Paul. You’ll get curbside service to Target Field and be picked up when the game is over. The group will return to North Dakota Sunday morning, August 17. This ticket and travel package can be purchased at www.mayvillestate.edu/twins, as well.
A block of rooms has been reserved at Cambria Suites in Maple Grove, located about 20 minutes from Target Field. Suite-style rooms feature microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, free wireless Internet, and more. The facility has a lounge/bar, restaurant, indoor heated pool, whirlpool/hot tub, and many more amenities. To top it off, you’ll get a free hot breakfast on Sunday morning! King suites and double queen suites have been reserved.
We’re very excited about this opportunity that is being offered to all Mayville State alumni and friends! Be sure to purchase your tickets and make your reservations as soon as possible. Tickets will go fast, and quantities are limited. Reservation deadline for the Mayville State Minnesota Twins Outing is Thursday, July 3. For more information you may contact the Director of Alumni Affairs at 701-788-4750 or email@example.com.
