Following a long-standing Mayville State tradition, the MSU Theater Department, under the direction of Bob Sylskar, presented a spring children's theater production, with shows on March 21 and 22 in the Old Main Theatre. Identifying an athletic conference home is an extremely important effort

Since we first learned in the fall of 2023 that the North Star Athletic Conference (NSAA) would be disbanding after the 2024-25 academic year, we have been exploring options for a conference home for Mayville State Athletics. “Excitement” is the word as we celebrate with the Mayville State women’s basketball team, coaches, and staff as they continue their journey in the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Tournament! As I write this, the team is preparing to leave for the Round of 16 at the final tournament site in Sioux City, Iowa. To say that there are many excited people, not only on campus, but far beyond, is most certainly an understatement. We look forward with great anticipation to see how everything plays out.

The Mayville State Collegiate DECA chapter, the Comets women’s basketball team, and the May-Port CG girls basketball team have experienced outstanding achievements and given all of us many reasons to be proud and happy for the individuals involved.
