Eat and Sleep

Any student is welcome to reside in the institution’s residence halls, regardless of their age or class status. All freshmen and sophomore level students who are less than 21 years of age are required to live on campus in an approved residence hall.

Students have the option to live in Agassiz, Berg or Birkelo Halls. Currently, Agassiz Hall is being renovated into four-person suites and apartments. Some of the suites will be ready for students by fall 2010 with the remaining suites and apartments completed in January, 2011. See the link below for layout drawings of the newly renovated Agassiz Hall. Berg and Birkelo Hall will continue to house students in traditional style residence halls with community bathrooms and options for single and double occupancy rooms. Each residence hall room provides cable television and computer network/internet access.

All freshmen students who live in a residence hall are required to take part in an approved 10 or 14 meal board plan, while upper class students have options for a 5 meal, 10 meal, 14 meal or Comet Café cash plan.

Off-Campus Living

Dining on Campus

All students can opt into a campus meal plan, whether they live on campus or off. The dining hall services provides lunch, (breakfast served daily) and dinner. Each meal consists of three entrées, as well as a soup and salad bar, drinks and desserts.

The Snack Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and into the night. Here students can get burgers, fries, salads, soda, coffee and much more.
