College Physics

College Physics is an algebra-based physics course designed to provide a general understanding of the principles of physics related to mechanics, fluids, and an introduction to thermodynamics.

PHYS 211 College Physics I and PHYS 212 College Physics II (lecture courses only) will be offered online during the fall and spring semesters.

University Physics

University Physics is a calculus based physics course designed to provide Science and Engineering majors with a deeper understanding of the principles of physics. This course is intended as an alternative to PHYS 211, not sequential to it. Upon transferring to another NDUS institution, the four course credits obtained in taking this course at MSU may be reduced to three credits.

PHYS 251 University Physics I and PHYS 252 University Physics II (lecture courses only*) will be offered online during fall and spring semesters.

*An online PHYS 211L and PHYS 251L lab is being developed but is not yet available.
