Upcoming Teacher Center Events

STARLAB is now available for area schools.

The STARLAB is a portable planetarium that is available to make learning come alive for your students. The lab is 10 feet high and 16 feet wide and will accommodate 25 students at a time. Donalee, along with her STEM student ambassador will travel to your school and present 25 minute lessons in the lab as well as a classroom lesson about the same length if requested. The lessons that are available this spring are:

1. Constellation Sky Search: Searching the sky for constellations, the mythology behind them, as well as the reasons constellations are important. ( 3-6)
2. What is the Milky Way and all those things in it??: Identifying the planets, learning about them and their placement in space ( K-2)
