The Mayville State University Alumni Association hosts Alumni Day each year in conjunction with Mayville-Portland's Summerfest. Alumni Day 2013 is set for Friday, June 21. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities!
Campus Tours
Campus tours will leave from the front of Old Main at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.
Ice Cream Social
The MSU Foundation Board will host an ice cream social. Ice cream will be served on the lawn outside of Agassiz Hall from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Pre-Dinner Social
The Alumni Association board will host this social to honor the Alumni Association's 2013 Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Service Award winners, as well as Mayville State University's 2013 retirees with 20 or more years of service. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy refreshments while socializing with all of the honorees. The social will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the upper lounge area of the MSU Campus Center. Everyone is welcome, and there is no admission charge.
Alumni Association Awards Dinner
This year's recipients of the Mayville State University Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Service Awards will be honored at a dinner that will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the MSU Campus Center Luckasen Room. Distinguished Alumni Award winners who will be recognized are Merle Boucher, Dr. Debra Follman, Dr. G. Daryl Nord, and Dr. Rodney Strand. Curt Almlie will receive the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his work with the Mayville State University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Tickets for the Alumni Association Awards Dinner sell for $20.00 in advance. A very limited number of tickets will be available at the door on the evening of the dinner. The cost for these tickets is $25.00 each. RSVP deadline is June 11, 2013.
