• Cooperative teaching and internships are learning experiences that are available to you. Such opportunities may be offered in area schools, and internships may occur in a number of different settings.
• Education students meet state requirements in six teaching areas in the social sciences by completing 6 additional semester hours in the areas of sociology and psychology, above and beyond the core requirements for the Social Science Composite for teaching major.
