ServicesLibraryThe main purpose of Byrnes-Quanbeck Library is to support teaching and learning at Mayville State University. However, the Library also provides recreational materials like best sellers, books on tape, DVDs, and children’s books. In print alone, the Library owns over 90,000 books, about 500 magazines, and over 50 newspapers. Those resources are supplemented by a growing collection of electronic periodical subscriptions and e-books.Local community members are welcome to use Byrnes-Quanbeck Library free of charge. All you need to do is visit the Library and sign up for a library card. If you are under age 16, your parent or your legal guardian must accompany you whenever you come to the Library. Computer stations provide access not only to the Library’s catalog but also to full-text magazine and newspaper indexes and to the Internet. The Library has wireless Internet capabilities on both floors. MSU BookstoreThe MSU Bookstore is your headquarters for all course materials, supplies, MSU apparel and gift items, general books, computer supplies and residence hall convenience items. This easy one-stop shopping provides advantages for you.Technology CenterThe Traill County Technology Center (www.trailltechnology.org) (TCTC) is a business incubator located on the Mayville State campus. The TCTC was established to provide a professional environment for entrepreneurs to start their own business, and to assist existing businesses that want to expand or re-locate to our Center. Wellness CenterThe Wellness Center is available for use by community members as well as Mayville State students. Patrons are able to use the facility to work out, participate in aerobic exercise, lift weights, play pickup or intramural basketball and volleyball, or do personal conditioning. This area of the facility is also available for hosting community events such as craft fairs, science fairs, and scouting events. Copy and Printing CenterMayville State’s Copy and Printing Center provides services to the public and businesses in the region. The center is located in the mailroom in the basement of Main Building.
