The Mayville State University women’s basketball team is conducting a toy drive during upcoming home basketball teams. Their goal is to collect 100 toys that will be given to area children who may not otherwise receive a Christmas gift this year. The public is invited to assist in the effort by bringing new, unwrapped toys to any or all games scheduled for Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 11, and Dec. 18. Each person bringing a toy will be admitted free of charge to the game(s) on that day.

The drive will take place at the Saturday, Dec. 5 men’s and women’s games versus Waldorf, beginning at 4 p.m.; and the Friday, Dec. 18 men’s and women’s games versus University of Minnesota-Morris, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The drive will also be held during Comets men’s basketball games versus Morningside on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 11 versus Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. All games will be played in Mayville State’s Lewy Lee Fieldhouse.
