Graduates of Mayville State who have been leaders in their fields for a minimum of ten years are eligible to receive the Mayville State University Distinguished Alumni Award.
The MSU Alumni Association honors Distinguished Alumni Award recipients on an annual basis. A recognition luncheon has traditionally been held during homecoming festivities, but a change made in 2010 means that the recognition program will be held in June of each year. The next Alumni Association Awards program will be held at a dinner scheduled for Friday, June 22, 2012. Selections for the next award recipients will be made at a meeting of the Alumni Association Board in January 2012.
We request your assistance in nominating deserving individuals for the Distinguished Alumni Award. If you know of a worthy candidate, please take the time to submit a nomination. The Alumni Association Board members have found that there are many who deserve this award, but who are not known by all of the Board members. To assist in the evaluation of nominees, you are asked to submit as complete a nomination as possible. The quality of the selection process depends in part on the amount of information a nominator can provide.
Nominations received by January 15 of a given year will be used in considering award receipients who will be honored in June of the same year.
