Developing and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends is very important at Mayville State University. We strive to keep Mayville State’s alumni connected to their alma mater and to each other, extending the tradition of personal service to alumni beyond the college experience.
The purpose of the MSU Foundation is to serve as the vehicle for resource development in support of Mayville State University; and to raise, manage and disburse funds for the sole benefit of Mayville State University approved needs. The MSU Foundation provides the umbrella under which the Alumni Association and the Comet Athletic Club exist.
Any person who has attended Mayville State University the equivalent of one year becomes a member of the MSU Alumni Assocation. The MSU Alumni Association Board plans and coordinates social activities for alumni and friends. Annual Alumni Association events include Homecoming and Graduation Brunch. In addition, a number of socials and other activities are sponsored by the board each year.

The Comet Athletic Club is the fund raising body for Mayville State University Athletics. The mission of the CAC is to provide athletic scholarships for students. This helps to bring outstanding student athletes to Mayville State University. The Comet Athletic Club also provides other financial support that assures superior athletic support and programming for Comet Athletics.
